These terms cover your use of PuffinScout. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

PuffinScout watches how AI answers and search name your brand, finds the highest-impact things worth doing, helps you do them, and shows you what changed. You do the work from your own accounts; nothing is posted or published on your behalf without you.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for the accuracy of the information you add. Keep your sign-in secure. You must have the right to connect any website, brand or third-party account you add.

Acceptable use

Use PuffinScout lawfully. Do not misuse it, attempt to break its security, overload it, resell it without permission, or use it to harass others or violate a third party's terms (including the terms of any platform you act on).

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed as shown on the pricing page through our payment processor. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current period. Prices may change, with notice, for future periods.

Connected accounts and third parties

When you connect a third-party account (such as Google), your use of that service stays subject to that service's own terms, and our access is limited to what you grant. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle connected data.

Our work and yours

The software, design and content of PuffinScout are ours. The brands, sites and content you add are yours; you grant us the permission needed to provide the service on them.

No guarantee of outcomes

PuffinScout surfaces opportunities and measures change honestly. It does not guarantee a ranking, a citation, traffic or revenue. The service is provided "as is," without warranties, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, PuffinScout is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending it

You can stop using PuffinScout and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service means you accept the update.
